Turned it on, restarted the app, and after a while, the content all loaded. But if you're saying it pulls all that from Xbox Live direct from the net and not the Xbox itself, maybe it was just being stupid for a minute.
None of those "modern Windows apps" run very impressively. I also learned where the videos and pictures are saved to. I couldn't find it in the app and had to Google it. Even pictures go there.
And they all just have the name of the game, they aren't numbered or dated or anything. You can also delete multiple captures at a time by selecting the checkbox icon shown below.

By default, your most recently recorded clips will be displayed at the top of the list. Select a clip from the list.
