Steam mod not downloading

Install Steam. Store Page. Arma 3 Store Page. Global Achievements. Global Leaderboards. This has been happening for 3 days now. Half of my steam workshop mods are "uninstalled" for some reason.

I also tried unsubscribing from some mods and resubscribing but then they appear at the bottom of the list of mods and don't do anything.

At the bottom of the launcher there is a message saying " Waiting for Steam to download mod updates" however nothing is happening. Any Ideas would be appreciated! The author of this topic has marked a post as the answer to their question.

Hello, please check the Download in the Steam client, there should be a row "Arma 3 - Workshop Content" and there may be an install or resume button next to it or the download progress if the Steam is downloading the items.

There aren't any downloads for Arma 3 workshop. Step 1. Expand the Settings menu and select the download tab. Click on the Clear Download Cache button at the bottom of the screen and click Yes at the confirmation prompt to clear the locally download cache. Log in to your Steam account again and try downloading the mod. Now, see if the Steam not downloading Workshop mods issue still persists. Many users reported that the Steam Workshop not downloading subscribed mods issue occurs when accessing the Steam Beta too frequently.

So, you can opt out the Steam Beta and re-subscribe to the mods to fix the issue. Select the Account from the vertical menu of the left pane, and then click on the Change button under Beta participation. Change the status to None — Opt out of all beta programs from the drop-down menu and click on OK to save the change. As you might know, sometimes the download progress of the mods is only shown inside the Big Picture Mode.

So, you can try using Big Picture Mode to fix the issue. Open your Steam client and then click on the Big Picture Mode icon at the upper right corner of the screen.

Inside the Big Picture mode, check if the mod is downloading in the queue. You should make sure the download region is close to the exact physical location of your PC. Here I will paste the instructions they gave me that fixed the issue: If you already have these enabled, un-check then check them again to fix any bugs. Thank you again, steam support! My game is Crusader Kings 2, and it is impossible to download any workshop mod Do you have a mac version of the bottom half of instructions? I am having the same problem. Sadly no as I am on Windows and do not own a Mac.

I would suggest that you contact Steam Support like I did, be patient with them and they'll most likely have the solution for you. Per page: 15 30 Date Posted: 8 Apr, pm.
